The photograph for this commission was of poor quality but showed an expression that Christine particularly liked. The stencil for this structure is based on vertical lines. The thickness of these lines builds up the shading for the picture which conveys the unique expressions of these two boys. I used the stencil 6 times with different colours to create this diptych.
